Hiring several workers for a local furniture manufacturing company in Ontario.

Duties will include, but are not limited to assembling and disassembling furniture.

Pay is $12.00 per hour

Major Responsibilities

* Handle high volume incoming telephone or email inquiries

* Identify the customer’s needs and executes thorough questioning to solve any open issues

* Help resolve any technical and/or troubleshooting issues as needed

* Data entry into internal systems

* Consistently increase the amount of knowledge absorbed through the technical team and training sessions

* Providing feedback on newly discovered problems and suggestions for past and current grill models

Qualifications

* High School Diploma or equivalent education level.

* Able to speak, write, and read French/Chinese fluently.

* Minimum of 6 months Call Center experience

* Strong interpersonal skills and have a pleasant telephone manner to complete the calls professionally

* Have effective verbal and written communication skills.

* Able to handle pressure and difficult claimants in professional and effective way.

* Detail-oriented, organized and multi-tasking.

* Excellent verbal / written communication skills

* Advanced level on MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Paint

Inventory Control Specialist

  • Enter data for quantities of parts issued and transferred between locations, inventory and cycle count adjustments, into computer database.
  • Maintain and purge computer database.
  • Receive and issue finished goods into computer database.
  • Troubleshoot quantity discrepancies with manufacturing and inspection personnel.
  • Prepare monthly reports for cycle count and pick-lists count for monthly highlights.
  • Prepare and participate in yearly physical inventory.
  • Utilize EDI process.

Helpdesk/ Customer Service:

Manage incoming calls from customers and provide assistance with their
reported technical issues.

Walk customers through troubleshooting issues

Promptly respond to customer questions submitted via email or website.

Maintain updated knowledge of all company products and services to
provide the highest levels of customer service.

Document internal notes on CRM System (smart sheets).

Communication – Ask clear and concise questions whilst listening to
customers to determine the root cause of issues and provide resolutions.

Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies.

Build sustainable relationships of trust through open and interactive
communication with all customers.

Daily Update of Store Essentials tracking sheet.

Chase & confirm customer orders.

Arrange collection of stock from stores when stock needs retrieving.

Review Service and Call Out paperwork received from engineers
and pass to Accounts.

KPI Report (monthly).

Sales Order Due Date Report (due weekly on a Friday).

Logging incoming & outgoing calls to customer on smart sheets.

Admin: –
 Prepare shipping paperwork for warehouse
 Filing records for stores
 Booking pallets with Freight Company when required
 Arranging UPS collections when required

Responsible for assuring that job duties and responsibilities of his/ her group are performed in accordance with job description, policy and procedures.

Verifies or coordinates that all necessary materials and equipment required are available for shift including; raw material, pkg. material, labels as well as cutters and machinery setup. They are physically present and support any and all changeovers during shift.

Individual needs to be a role model for safety on the factory floor through leading by example, training all personnel regarding potential hazards and holding direct reports (including Line Leads) accountable for their actions and behaviors.

Responsible for participating & insuring that all product specifications, as set forth by R&D and QA, are met and that any deviations from those standards are reported immediately to the appropriate individuals and that appropriate and effective action is taken. The action taken may include the immediate termination of the process or process area affected.

Needs to know at all times the budgeted standards for line rate and crewing per line assigned. And is prepared at all times to answer what the actual line rate and the number of people on line. And if not achieving either expectation the reason why.

Participates in a minimum of four hourly Q.C./Linelead quality checks per line.

They are a member of management team – carrying out all requests of Team Leader as well as supporting company position regarding any and all established policies.

Guides, trains and supports those reporting directly to him/ her.

Maintains the confidentiality of information that he/ she comes into contact with or has access to such as formulas, specifications, customer information, vender information, new product information, marketing strategies and forecasts and other confidential company information.
